SEO setup: what's really included
Technical audit, keyword research, meta tags and markup, content recommendations and a report: what SEO setup for a website consists of and in what order to do it.
SEO is not about "raising your rankings". It's work to make sure the right people find you on Yandex and Google. Rankings are a consequence, not the goal: you can rank first for a query nobody ever types.
What the setup includes
| Stage | What we do |
|---|---|
| Technical audit | Load speed, mobile version, indexing errors, duplicate pages |
| Keyword research | We collect queries and group them by meaning: each one gets its own page |
| Meta tags | Titles, descriptions, heading structure — for every page |
| Markup | Schema.org: Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, articles and case studies |
| Content recommendations | What to add, which pages to create, what to remove |
| Report | What was done, what changed, what to do next |
The order to do it in
- First the technical part: while the site is slow and poorly indexed, tags won't help.
- Then keyword research: understanding which queries should actually bring people to you.
- Then meta tags and markup: the pages you already have start to work.
- After that, content: new pages for topics and services you didn't cover.
- And only then a regular report and adjustments.
What SEO won't help with
- If the product isn't what people are searching for: you'll get traffic, but no enquiries.
- If the site doesn't answer the client's questions: people will come and leave.
- If you need traffic tomorrow: that's a job for ads, not organic search.

How a static site, WordPress and a portal differ
If the site already exists and "stalls in the search results", start with an audit. If there's no site yet, it's cheaper to build the foundation in from the start: markup, speed and structure.
